The Windsor Regency Ball stands as a distinguished social gathering, established in the year 2025 by Velvet Edge Entertainment. This annual immersive experience transports attendees to the grace and sophistication of early 19th century England, when balls were the pinnacle of society's calendar and the measure by which a season was judged successful. Our second annual ball, to be held on August 23rd, 2026, at the historic Willistead Manor, once again brings to life the atmosphere of genteel society while incorporating modern sensibilities to enhance the enjoyment of our guests. The evening unfolds as a carefully orchestrated series of entertainments, from the distinguished opening buffet, tea service, and dance instruction, to the final spirited measures well into the night. Upon arrival, guests shall find themselves welcomed into a world where refinement and amusement combine in equal measure. The manor and its surrounding parklands, secured exclusively for our gathering, provide an authentic backdrop for the evening's proceedings. The Windsor Regency Ball features a programme of diversions befitting the era: dance lessons led by internationally acclaimed professional performers, live musical performances, horse and carriage rides through the grounds, a dramatic pistol exhibition at sunset, the crowning of the Diamond of the Summer, and a few other surprises we shan't yet share... Guests may participate as actively or passively as they desire, whether filling their dance cards with prospective partners or simply observing the spectacle from comfortable vantage points. While Regency-inspired attire is heartily encouraged, we recognize that not all possess such garments, and modern formal wear with appropriate accessories shall suffice for general attendance. Those aspiring to be crowned the Diamond of the Summer should know that our judges consider the overall effort, creativity, and thoughtfulness behind one's appearance rather than strict period accuracy alone.
